Intro to Plumbing
February 14th - March 27th (Wed. Evenings), 6:00-7:30pm
This introductory class, taught by a journeyman plumber with 20 years of experience, will help any homeowner trouble-shoot and learn to make repairs on several household items. Classes will include discussion of proper tools, safety, plumbing regulations and hands-on application of skills learned. Classes will meet once a week at the Dream Center for a total of 7 weeks.
Intro to Sewing
February 14th - April 3rd (Wed. Evenings), 6:30-8:00pm
In this 8 week class, Renee Gwin will share her sewing expertise as you learn about the basics of a sewing machine, hand stitching and machine stitching, and reading patterns while creating cozy bowls, pillowcases and pajama pants. Classes meet weekly on Wednesdays at 6:30pm at the Dream Center.
Intro to Electricity
February 26th - April 8th (Mon. Evenings), 6:30pm - 8:00pm
This 7 week introductory class is taught by a professional electrician with decades of experience. Class will cover safety and the mechanics of private and commercial applications of electricity. Hands-on opportunities to work with materials and tools specific to this trade as well as an opportunity to network with others in this area. Classes meet weekly at The Dream Center.
Intro to HVAC - Air Conditioners and Refrigeration
March 12th - April 30th (Tues. Evenings), 6:30pm - 8:00pm
In this introductory class, Justin Williamson will share his expertise as you learn how to troubleshoot air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This class offers insight into the HVAC trade and provides hands-on experience working with the tools of the trade. Class meets at 6:30pm weekly for 8 weeks at the Dream Center.
Entrepreneurship
March 6th – April 17th (Wed. Evenings)
This 7 week course meets on Wednesdays starting March 6th – April 17th and will lead participants through creating a business plan, marketing, customer service and HR skills. Taught by actual entrepreneurs in a variety of professions. Bring your dream and let us help you take action!
